Vauversin Champagne

The Vauversin family have been making Champagne in the Grand Cru village of Oger since 1640.  Bruno Vauversin and his son Laurent are the current custodians and produce an outstanding array of critically acclaimed Champagnes. Bruno and Laurent's attitude to their winemaking is to try to be less intrusive and simpler, to allow the full flavour of the Chardonnay grape to assert itself and to showcase the unique terroir of their 3ha vineyard on the Côte des Blancs escarpment.

We recently visited Laurent in Oger and learnt about the progress of this year's crop and his plans for the future.  Read more about it here
