I confirm that I am over 18 years of age

As you are no doubt aware it is against the law in UK to sell alcoholic products to anybody under the age of 18 or to allow the purchase of alcohol on behalf of anybody under the age of 18. It must be said that it is unlikely that minors are going to be in the business of purchasing champagne however in these litigious and bureaucratic times we have to go through the motions of asking you to confirm that you are over 18 years of age before proceeding through to the shop.
